Director of Coach Training

Director of Training must document that he/she has:
  • 1250 hours of actual coaching experience
  • Been mentored coached at least 20 hours
  • Subscribes to ICF's Definition of Coaching, Code of Ethics, and Core Coaching Competencies.
  • Has a background of at least 125 hours of coach training and committed to obtaining 200 hours of coach specific training by two years from date of ACTP application.
  • Letters of reference from two other well-known coaches in the area or MCC/PCCs (ICF credentialed coaches) who have personal knowledge and can personally attest to the applicant's coaching abilities. (The letters of reference must come from coaches who have actually heard you coach.)
  • Committed to obtaining PCC as soon as possible and committed to obtaining MCC within 3 years.
